Whats the current lead time?
The current lead time is 2 - 4 weeks for a desk.
Can I see the wood colours in person?
Yes, order a sample pack to view the wood colours in person. Order samples
What wood is used for the desks?
We use premium solid American White Oak
What are the desk frames made from?
We use a raw charcoal colour, mild steel. A mixture of 40 x 40mm box section. 5mm flat steel for desk storage accessories.
Are the oak tops protected against water or heat?
Yes, we dye the wood tops your chosen colour then add a clear matt lacquer to protect the wood called treatex. This offers a layer of protection against heat and water spillage. To learn more you can click here.
Do you charge VAT?
Yes, VAT is added to the cost of our products. A VAT receipt will be sent to you after your order has been placed and payment complete.
Are steel parts protected?
Yes, we apply a clear matt lacquer to all steel parts to protect it against rust and erosion. However this doesn't guarantee the steel won't rust over years. Coloured steel parts are well protected and are less likely to ever rust, as long as they are kept indoors.
Deliveries
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery and installation costs £150.00 plus vat and covers the UK. This covers the price of 1 desk, more than 1 may increase the delivery price slightly. Contact us if you require a custom quote.
Who assembles the desk on delivery?
Our delivery team will do this for you.
Are the desks detachable?
Yes the legs are detachable on all our desks. The corner desks also feature a detachable frame which comes in two parts. This makes delivery much easier if we need to access tight areas.
Can I collect my order?
Yes you can. Our workshop is in Derby so if your willing to travel we can arrange for you to collect your order and save on delivery costs.
